На Parlophone выходит 7-ой британский альбом The Beatles REVOLVER.
В США на Capitol Records альбом выйдет 8-го августа. В американское издание не войдут песни "I’m Only Sleeping", "And Your Bird Can Sing" и "Dr. Robert", уже выпущенные ранее в США.
Кроме песен, написанных Lennon-McCartney, на альбоме представлены три новые композиции George Harrison, а Ringo Starr было доверено спеть песню "Yellow Submarine", написанную специально для него.
